November 16, 2007.

United Way of Greater Los Angeles funds charities that help nearly 
4,000,000 of our neighbors in Southern California. Your United Way 
Campaign representative has material explaining this year's campaign: 
Creating Pathways Out of Poverty. Please remember that United Way is 
more than a charity; it is an investment in building the success of your 
community and its people.

Remember, too, that you may direct your contribution to any qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which includes the Caltech Children's Center, the Child Educational Center, Caltech/JPL Community, and the Caltech Y. Your contributions to these campus-related programs will be used to assist members of our Caltech community who cannot afford these programs without financial aid.
