Postdoctoral scholars, senior postdoctoral scholars and visitors form a vital part of Caltech’s research community. By engaging in research beyond their Ph.D. training, postdoctoral scholars advance knowledge in science and engineering while adding to their own experience and education. The Postdoctoral Scholars/Visitors Services office provides the administrative services needed to facilitate a postdoctoral scholar or visitor’s formal appointment at Caltech. In addition, this office also provides information and resources to scholars and their families from the time of their arrival in Pasadena and throughout their stay at Caltech.
