University of Redlands MBA program is designed to address the challenges
and dynamics of doing business in a global economy. In addition to educating
managers in business functions such as marketing and finance, the design
integrates issues of globalization and technology throughout the curriculum.
These issues provide the basis for the capstone project, as well as
the opportunity to study for an emphasis in Globalization and/or Information
Systems.
Experienced faculty from around the world bring an added value to the
MBA at the University of Redlands. The faculty have a firm commitment
to academic excellence and are dedicated to ensure quality across the
curriculum.
This 24-month program consists of 41 semester credits. The four-semester
MBA opens with an immersion in global, political, social, and ethical
issues of business. It also includes specialized study in such areas
as global economy, finance, and statistics. It concludes with an application
of the general and specific concepts in both case study and applied
study of real business problems.
Satisfactory completion of each course is demonstrated through written
reports, oral presentations, case analysis, examinations, and other
criteria established by the faculty. The practicum project option requires
attendance at practicum seminars during the final semester of the MBA
program. The thesis option requires enrollment for thesis credit and
individual work with a faculty member assigned as an advisor.
Classes meet one evening per week on the Caltech campus.
